Configure Shipping Mapping in the Shopify–Simpro Integration

The Shopify–Simpro integration automatically imports all shipping methods configured in Shopify. These methods are displayed under Settings > Shipping Settings in the SyncEzy integration page, as shown in the screenshot below.

Any changes made to shipping methods in Shopify will be reflected in SyncEzy after you refresh the integration page.

How Shipping Mapping Works

To ensure shipping charges are correctly added to jobs created in Simpro, each Shopify shipping method must be mapped to a corresponding Shipping Item in Simpro.

  1. Create or identify the appropriate shipping item in Simpro.
  2. Copy the Part Number of the shipping item.
  3. In SyncEzy's Shipping Settings, paste the Part Number against the Shopify shipping method you want to map.
  4. Save your changes.

Example

If a customer selects Free International Shipping in Shopify, the integration will:

  • Detect the shipping method used on the order.
  • Check the shipping mapping configured in SyncEzy.
  • Find the corresponding Simpro shipping item based on the Part Number entered.
  • Add that shipping item to the job created in Simpro.

Updating a Shipping Mapping

If you need to change the shipping item associated with a Shopify shipping method in the future:

  1. Copy the Part Number of the new shipping item from Simpro.
  2. Replace the existing Part Number in the corresponding shipping method mapping within SyncEzy.
  3. Save the changes.

All future orders using that Shopify shipping method will then use the updated shipping item when creating jobs in Simpro.

Important: When the Apply Shopify Prices toggle is turned on in the intergation settings, the integration will use the shipping charges from Shopify instead of the pricing configured on the mapped Simpro shipping item. Any shipping cost applied to the Shopify order will be synced to the corresponding Simpro job.
