Employee Termination Process within Hibob-Employment Hero integration

Overview:

This article explains the correct process for terminating employees using the Hibob integration with Employment Hero to avoid sync errors.

Termination Process:
  1. Initiate Termination in Hibob:
    Always initiate employee terminations from Hibob, not directly in Employment Hero. This ensures proper syncing with Employment Hero.

  2. Automatic Termination Sync:
    After termination is initiated in Hibob, the employee will be automatically terminated in Employment Hero at the end of their last working day (after 6 PM).

  3. Why Not to Terminate in Employment Hero:
    If you terminate an employee directly in Employment Hero, the integration cannot process the termination, leading to errors during sync.

Troubleshooting:

If you’ve manually terminated an employee in Employment Hero and encounter an error, please reach out to support@syncezy.com. We’ll assist in removing the error and manually moving the employee to the termination table.
