You may need to update the application credentials if an existing user has been archived, if the password has changed, or if you wish to use service accounts for your integration. Additionally, ensure that the new or service account has the same permissions as the current user. The permissions must match those of the user currently connected.
To reauthenticate, log in to integrations.syncezy.com, then navigate to My Integrations and click on Details for the app.
Once on the integration page, follow the steps below for each integration:
On the Integration page, click the Up arrow button.
Click Reconnect under SimPRO to reauthorize the account.
Note: Do not click Disconnect as it will delete all data and reset the integration.
After clicking Reconnect, you’ll be redirected to the Connection page. Here, you’ll need to enter the credentials for the account you want to connect.
Enter your SimPRO instance URL (e.g., https://yourcompany.simpro.co
). Ensure the URL is correct and does not contain any trailing slashes.
Specify the Company ID:
By default, the Company ID is set to 0. If your SimPRO setup includes multiple companies, follow these steps:
In SimPRO, click the Settings (Gear icon) and select Setup.
Click on Company tab. Identify and note the Company ID of the company you wish to connect.
Enter this ID in the corresponding field in SyncEzy.
In SimPRO, click the Setup (Gear icon) and select Setup.
Go to API > Applications.
Click Create Application.
Fill in the application details:
Company: Enter your company name.
Name: Label it as "SyncEzy Integration" for clarity.
Authentication Method: Select "API Key".
Copy the generated API key and click Create to save the configuration.
Paste the copied API key into the SimPRO Auth Token field in SyncEzy.
Click Submit. Your SimPRO account is now authenticated.
To reauthenticate SafetyCulture, you will need to generate an API token from your SafetyCulture app. Follow the steps below:
On the Integration page, click the Up arrow button.
Click Disconnect under SafetyCulture, then confirm by clicking Yes when the confirmation window appears.
You will be redirected to the connection page. Click and Connect, you will be asked for an API token (Authentication Key).
Visit your SafetyCulture app at https://app.safetyculture.com .
Click your username on the lower-left corner of the page and select My Profile.
Click Settings on the upper-right of the page.
Click on API Tokens tab (visit https://app.safetyculture.com/account/api-tokens)
Enter a name for your application (e.g., "SyncEzy Integration" for clarity) and add your password.
Click Generate at the bottom-right of the window.
A pop-up window will appear with your new API token. Copy the token (Note: You will not be able to view the token again after closing this window).
Paste the token into the SyncEzy connection page where it asks for the API token, then click Submit.
