Steps to Sync Payslips to the Shared Docs or Custom Folder

We’re excited to introduce a new enhancement that allows integration users to sync payslips from Employment Hero directly into the Shared Docs or Custom folders in HiBob. Previously, payslips could only be synced to the Confidential folder.

This feature is optional and can be enabled by following the steps below.

Step 1: Verify Permissions in HiBob

Before enabling the feature, ensure that the Service Admin user in HiBob — the account connected to SyncEzy — has the required permissions to upload and delete documents in the target folder.

Follow these steps to verify permissions:

  1. Click the square box icon in the top-left corner of your HiBob account.
  2. Navigate to System Settings.
  3. Go to AccountsPermission Groups.
  4. Locate the Service Admin permission group.
  5. Ensure the user has both Upload Documents and Delete Documents permissions enabled for:
    • Shared Docs, and/or
    • Any Custom folder where payslips will be synced.

If you use custom folders, they will also appear in the permissions list, and the appropriate access can be granted there.

Please refer to the screenshot below for guidance.

Step 2: Enable the Shared Docs or Custom Folder Setting for Payslips

  1. Log in to your integration portal at https://integrations.syncezy.com
  2. Open the relevant integration from your dashboard.
  3. Go to the Settings tab for the integration.
  4. Click View HiBob Employment Hero Configuration.
  5. Enable either:
    • Payslip Shared Folder, or
    • Payslip Custom Folder

Once enabled, all payslips will automatically sync to the selected Shared Docs or Custom folder in HiBob instead of the Confidential folder.
