Managing employee bank account details in HiBob just got a whole lot easier. Previously, to sync bank details from HiBob, you were required to manually create custom fields for bank information such as BSB number, routing number, and allocation percentages. This often added complexity—especially when handling multiple bank accounts for a single employee.
However, with HiBob's new bank table feature, this manual process is now a thing of the past.
The Bank Table feature in HiBob allows you to manage and sync multiple employee bank accounts directly from within the HiBob platform. This eliminates the need for custom fields, while also making the setup much more intuitive and user-friendly.
Here’s a snapshot of what the new bank table looks like:
As seen above, the table allows you to input key fields such as:
Bank Account Type (e.g. Savings or Checking)
Routing Number / BSB
Account Nickname
Bank Name and Address
Account Number
BIC/SWIFT
IBAN (optional)
Allocation (by % or fixed amount)
Bonus Use Flag
Support for Multiple Bank Accounts
You can also manage allocation types using either percentage and fixed amount, which offers flexibility when distributing payroll across multiple accounts.
If your organization uses a customized setup with existing custom fields for bank data, don’t worry—they are still supported and will function the same way. However, the new bank table is designed to streamline the process and reduce manual configuration.
