SyncEzy supports one-way document synchronization between Procore and SharePoint.
Depending on the configuration, documents can be synchronized in either of the following directions:
Procore → SharePoint
or
SharePoint → Procore
One-way synchronization means that documents are synchronized in one direction only. Changes made on the destination side are not synchronized back to the source.
SyncEzy provides different one-way synchronization configurations depending on your workflow and where you want to maintain your source documents.
The entire integration operates in the Procore → SharePoint direction.
It uses the existing Procore–SharePoint integration capabilities for project and company documents, while restricting document synchronization to one direction.
The synchronization direction is:
Procore → SharePoint
Changes made in Procore can be synchronized to SharePoint.
Changes made in SharePoint are not synchronized back to Procore.
The existing document synchronization capabilities and behavior available in the standard integration continue to apply, with the main difference being that synchronization is restricted to one direction.
SyncEzy also supports one-way document synchronization from SharePoint to Procore.
The entire integration operates in the SharePoint → Procore direction for Document Sync.
The synchronization direction is:
SharePoint → Procore
Changes made in SharePoint can be synchronized to Procore.
Changes made in Procore are not synchronized back to SharePoint.
With this configuration, users can select the required SharePoint location and Procore destination as part of the setup.
Supported:
SharePoint-to-Procore Document Only Sync
Not Supported:
Procore-to-SharePoint synchronization
Two-way document synchronization
Metadata Sync
Other sync options under this specific configuration
Company-level Folder Sync is a separate SharePoint-to-Procore one-way configuration.
This configuration is designed for customers who want to synchronize individual company-level folders with separate SharePoint locations rather than treating the entire Company Documents location as a single source.
Each company-level folder can be added separately and mapped to a specific Procore destination.
For example, different SharePoint company-level folders can be configured to synchronize to different Procore locations.
The synchronization direction is strictly: SharePoint → Procore
Changes made in Procore are not synchronized back to SharePoint.
If you would like to use SharePoint-to-Procore one-way synchronization, please contact SyncEzy Support or Sales for assistance.
If an existing integration app has already been configured as two-way, it cannot simply be switched from two-way synchronization to SharePoint-to-Procore one-way synchronization.
The integration must first be reset and configured again.
Important: Resetting an integration will remove its existing configuration and synchronization state. Please contact SyncEzy Support before resetting an existing integration.
The SharePoint-to-Procore one-way sync option must first be enabled by SyncEzy Support.
The integration must be new or have been reset before this option can be configured.
Once enabled, the configuration page will provide the options required to set up the one-way synchronization.
From the configuration page, select Add Project.
Select Document Only sync Tab from the pop up opened.
Select the Procore Company and the Project.
Note that after project is connected, SharePoint data will synced in the Documents tool directly at the root level
Step 3: Select the SharePoint Location
In the SharePoint section:
The configuration also supports selecting the root-level SharePoint library.
The selected SharePoint location acts as the source for the SharePoint-to-Procore synchronization.
After setting up the SharePoint configuration, click on ‘Add Project’ to complete the setup
When the configuration is first added, SyncEzy performs an initial synchronization of the applicable documents from the configured source.
The time required for the initial synchronization depends on factors such as the number of folders and documents being synchronized.
During the initial sync, SyncEzy processes the applicable folder and document structure and synchronizes the supported documents to Procore.
One-way sync means documents are synchronized in one direction only:
The direction depends on the configuration selected.
Metadata Sync is not supported with the new SharePoint-to-Procore one-way Document Sync configuration.
For assistance with one-way sync, please contact SyncEzy Support or Sales.
Yes. Since one-way is an integration/app-level setting, the FAQ should consistently describe it that way rather than making it sound project-specific. I’d also simplify the Summary because the FAQ already covers most of it.
