Introduction to the Drawings Sync Feature with Box

We are excited to introduce the Procore Drawings Tool Sync with Box! This new feature allows you to automatically sync your project drawings without markups from Procore to Box in a one-way sync. This ensures that your Box repository always has the latest set of drawings from Procore without the need for manual downloads or updates.

Permission Required for Drawings Tool to Sync

To enable syncing, admin permissions for the Drawings Tool in Procore are required.

How the Drawings Sync Works

✅ One-way sync: Drawings from Procore are automatically transferred to Box.
✅ Automatic updates: When a drawing version is updated in Procore, it is re-synced to Box, replacing the previous version without markups.
✅ Folder structure consistency: Drawings are organized in Box based on your Procore structure, ensuring easy navigation.
✅ Access anytime in Box: Once synced, your drawings are available directly in Box, making collaboration easier for teams using Box for document management.

Step 1: Select the Drawings Tool in Procore

To begin, go to Procore > Project Tools > Drawings.

Step 2: Enable Full Project Sync and Select Drawings in SyncEzy

1. In SyncEzy, navigate to "Add Project to Sync" and choose "Full Project Sync".

   Step 3: Choose Box as the Sync Destination

   1. Select the Box account where you want the files to sync.
   2. Choose the Box Folder where the drawings should be stored.
   3. Click "Select This Location".
      
      
      

      Understanding the Box Folder Structure

      Once the sync is enabled, SyncEzy creates a parent folder in Box named “Area 01”. All drawings will be organized within subfolders under “Area 01” for easy access.
