Sync Simpro Cost Centres with Employment Hero Locations

Overview

We’re excited to introduce a new feature in the SyncEzy Simpro to Employment Hero integration that gives you greater control over how timesheet locations are assigned.

With this feature, you can now pair a Simpro Job Cost Centre with a Location in Employment Hero (EH). Once the pairing is configured, whenever a timesheet is synced from Simpro to Employment Hero, the location associated with the paired cost Centre will automatically appear on the timesheet.

How to Set Up the Pairing

  1. Open your SyncEzy Simpro to Employment Hero integration.

  2. Go to the Pairing tab.

  3. Find the Cost Centre Pairing section.

  4. Pair the required Simpro Cost Centre with the corresponding Employment Hero Location.



For Existing Customers

If you’re an existing customer and don’t see the Cost Centre to Location section:

  1. Go to SyncEzy Integration 

  2. Click Refresh App Data > Click on Sync All Data

  3. Once the refresh is complete, return to the Pairing tab.

  4. Pair the required Cost Centres with Employment Hero Locations.


How Location Assignment Works

When a timesheet is synced, SyncEzy checks whether the paired Employment Hero Location is assigned to the employee.

  • If the location is not assigned, SyncEzy will assign it to the employee during the sync.

  • If the location is marked Available to All, the sync will run as usual.

Example

If the Simpro Cost Centre Cabinetry is paired with the Employment Hero Location Auckland, any timesheet submitted against a Cabinetry job will sync to Employment Hero with Auckland as the location.

This makes it easier to ensure timesheets are automatically assigned to the correct location without manual updates.
