This guide will give a detailed overview of every section and tab that you can find in your simPRO to Xero Payroll integration. This is applicable for a one-way sync.
Fetch Timesheets from simPRO
This option allows the selection of all the employees who need to be added for fetching data from simPRO. Then select the Pay Period to fetch the data.
Send Timesheets to Xero
Once employees and pay period are selected, select the employees from the Timesheets Listing and click Send Timesheets to Xero. This option allows sending Timesheets to Xero.
Delete from SyncEzy
This will delete the employee records from SyncEzy.
Refresh App Data
Once the above fields are paired, click the Sync All Data button to refresh data from simPRO and Xero into the integration. Once clicked, please wait until the sync completes. When you click on this button it will look for the latest changes made in Xero and simPRO and sync the data accordingly
This is the name of your integration.
This is the email you signed up with to access the integration portal on integrations.syncezy.com
This is the connected simPRO company ID.
This is the URL of your connected simPRO account.
This is the name of your connected Xero account.
This setting is to give a custom name to your integration. Click on the pencil icon to edit and click save when you are done. You can enter 70 characters maximum.
That is where you enter the email address to receive notifications about your sync status. You can change it or add multiple emails (separate each email with a comma).
In the Employee Pairing tab, you will have a list of employees added to your simPRO and Xero accounts. This tab allows you to sync the employee's name and profile from SimPRO to Xero.
Delete simPRO Employees
This option deletes all simPRO employees from the SyncEzy account.
Delete Xero Employees
This option deletes selected Xero employees from the SyncEzy account.
The Activity Pairing tab allows you to pair activities between simPRO and Xero accounts. You will need to pair the activity name similarly on both sides for it to sync. The left side are the SimPRO activities that are automatically fetched. The right side are the Xero pay items that you need to associate with a SimPRO activity.
The Overtime Settings tab allows adding overtime rules. Click on the pencil to edit and click on the bin to delete the existing entry.
Add New Rule
For adding new overtime rules, click on Add New Rule button fill in the details and Save.
In the Break Settings tab, you can add breaks. Click on the pencil to edit and click on the bin to delete the existing entry.
Add New Break
For adding new breaks, click on Add New Break button fill in the details and Save.
The Manage Profiles tab allows adding the job profiles of employees. Enter the name of the job profile and click Save. To delete the record click on the bin under Action.
Xero Calendar Settings
This option allows setting the pay cycle for employees' payroll. Click the drop-down and select the pay cycle.
Normal Time Rounding
If the switch is toggled ON and when a full simPRO day is exactly 7.5 hours, it will be rounded up to 7.6 hours.
JobCard Timesheets Settings
If the switch is toggled ON, it will use JobCard Timesheets instead of using Schedule.
In the Data view tab, you can view data related to the simPRO to Xero sync. You can also export them as an Excel spreadsheet.
The Plan Details tab is a summary of your current subscription status. Below is a brief explanation of each text box.
This is the name you signed up with on the integrations portal.
This is the email you signed up with on the integrations portal
This will always be the Integration name you purchased.
This is the code we use internally and it is related to the plan name.
This will show the amount you paid for the integration, depending on the plan tier and how long you have chosen to subscribe for.
Interval of Subscription and Interval - Unit of Subscription
These two fields are related and specify how many months or years you have opted to subscribe for.
Next Bill Date
This field specifies the next date you will be billed for the subscription.
This field specifies whether your integration is live/trial or in another status.
Subscription ID and Subscription Number
These two fields are the references to your subscription. If you have any issues with your subscription, you can give either of these to SyncEzy Support Team to check.
