How to remove specific Jobs/Quotes/Sites/Customers from Sync in Automatic Setup For Simpro SharePoint Integration

When using Autosync configuration to sync jobs, quotes, sites, and customers between Simpro and SharePoint, there may be times when you want to stop syncing specific jobs or quotes. This is especially necessary if your account contains old jobs or quotes that no longer need to sync, or if you want to exclude certain jobs from syncing after the initial data sync from the configuration is complete.

Why remove Individual Jobs from Sync?

  • To prevent old or irrelevant jobs and quotes from syncing further.

  • To improve sync efficiency by excluding unnecessary data.

How to remove Individual Jobs from Sync

Follow these steps to remove specific jobs, quotes, sites, or customers from the sync:

  1. Login to the SyncEzy portal 

  2. Click on My Integrations and click on Details button

  3. Navigate to the Configuration tab.

  4. Find the Delete Configuration panel (it will be in an accordion style). Click to expand it.

  5. Select the type of tool you want to delete from syncing: Job, Quote, Site, or Customer.

  6. From the list provided, select the specific jobs, quotes, sites, or customers id number you want to remove.
    (The list will only show items that are currently actively syncing.)

  7. Click Delete

What Happens Next?

  • The system will rename the associated folder in SharePoint by adding the prefix old_ to the folder name (for example, old_<job folder name>), marking it as an old folder.
         

  • All data related to the selected job/quote/site/customer will be removed from the SyncEzy database, stopping any further syncing of that item.

  • Importantly, no data will be deleted from Simpro or SharePoint; the data will remain intact on both platforms.


Important:
If you accidentally delete any job, quote, site, or customer from the sync data, please contact our Support Team immediately to assist with resyncing the data.
