As part of ongoing improvements to the Simpro–Xero integration, we have introduced a new toggle setting alongside the existing Normal Time Rounding feature. These settings give businesses more flexibility in how working hours are calculated and exported.
There are now two configurable toggles available:
Normal Time Rounding
Add 0.10 to Basic Hours
Both toggles cannot be active at the same time.
Enabling one will automatically disable the other.
At any given time, only one of the following can be active:
Normal Time Rounding
Add 0.10 to Basic Hours
By default, both toggles are OFF.
If this toggle is switched ON, the system will automatically round a full Simpro day of exactly 7.5 hours up to 7.6 hours when the timesheet is fetched from Simpro to SyncEzy.
Example:
Timesheet entry = 7.5 hours
With Normal Time Rounding enabled → Adjusted Basic Hours = 7.6
This feature ensures consistency where organizations prefer standard rounding of daily hours.
When the “Add 0.10 to Basic Hours” toggle is enabled:
If the OT Rule defines Basic Hours as 7.5, the system automatically adds 0.10 making the basic hours to 7.6.
Adjustment applies after break deductions (if any).
The change does not affect breaks or overtime individually.
The total hours (Basic + Break + OT) will reflect the additional 0.10.
Timesheet: 9.0 hours
Break: 0.50 (30 minutes)
Basic (via OT Rule): 7.5 hours
With “Add 0.10 to Basic Hours” enabled:
Basic = 7.6
Break = 0.50
OT = 1.0
Total = 9.1 hours
The new Add 0.10 to Basic Hours toggle gives businesses an alternative method for adjusting timesheet calculations. Together with Normal Time Rounding, these two options allow for greater flexibility, while mutual exclusivity ensures that only one adjustment method is applied at any time.
